Scarring

images (4).jpg

Acne scars are usually the result of inflamed blemishes caused by skin pores engorged with excess oil, dead skin cells and bacteria. The pore swells, causing a break in the follicle wall. Shallow lesions are usually minor and heal quickly. But if there is a deep break in the wall of the pore, infected material can spill out into surrounding tissue, creating deeper lesions.

Step 3: Microneedling

Stimulates the production of new collagen in the skin. This is achieved by puncturing the dermis with microscopic needles. The treatment utilises the skins ability to heal itself, in turn triggering the production of new collagen. In addition to treating pores, fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity, minor scarring (including acne scarring) and sun damage it also enables topical products to penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their effectiveness.
